15 Foods you may not Realize are Healthy for you
Eating a healthy diet of food can often become a little boring if you shy away from some foods by assuming they are not healthy for you to eat.
There is a lot of misinformation floating around about fat content of some foods and that they are to be avoided. Fats found in nuts, seeds, fish and avocado are all healthy unsaturated fats, and are extremely beneficial for your body. Fats found in meat are saturated and therefore you should eat meat in moderation. You do need some saturated fat each day, but only a small amount so that fat soluble vitamins can be absorbed.
Eating popcorn, without the salt and butter, is a great source of fibre. It also is a great source of vitamin B, manganese, magnesium and antioxidants. Its’s how much you eat and what you put on it that matters.
Avocados are a great source of healthy fats, but just watch your portion size.
