Hi, and welcome to my general fitness blog.
In this blog I will talk about all things connected with fitness.
New scientific information about everything to do with fitness and exercise, and how exercise and nutrition go hand in hand.
I am going to start with a few articles from REPS. This is the organization that sets the standards for education in the fitness industry, and promotes exercise to the general public. They are the registration body for personal trainers and fitness people and set a standard for the industry. You can find out more about this organization by visiting their website.

Heart disease in New Zealand is alarmingly high. It can take just a few simple changes to your lifestyle to get huge improvements in your health status. Often, it is in the too hard basket, but with support and motivation from family and friends positive changes can be made.
