Foods that Fight Stress
As we are currently in a lockdown situation in Auckland, your stress levels may be taking a hike. How do you combat this on a daily basis?
There are several things you can do to help destress. Exercise is a great way to release stress and get those feel-good endorphins surging through your body.
Another way to address stress is to look at the food you are eating. There are a number of foods that are beneficial in lowering stress levels. These can include nuts and seeds, salmon, avocado, high magnesium foods such as spinach or green leafy vegetables, raw vegetables to help release a tight jaw through chewing, oatmeal to calm the system and others that can help provide the nutrients the body needs to stay destressed.
